WHY YEMEN

Yemen’s healthcare system is on the brink of collapse. Over half the country’s health care facilities have either been damaged or completely destroyed by the ongoing conflict, leaving 20 million people in need of basic health care assistance.

Pure Hands is providing two different emergency response strategies to help prevent the complete collapse of the public health system. We play an active role in the rehabilitation of hospitals and the distribution of medicine, medical supplies, and equipment.

Pure Hand Offers Healthcare Support in the Following Ways:

MEDICINE

Without access to basic healthcare needs, many chronic disease patients are at risk of losing their lives.

For $30, you can provide essential medicine and treatment for patients with chronic conditions

CATARACT SURGERY

Imagine waiting for the day you go blind. You know it’s slowly coming, your vision progressively is getting worse, and you know there is a very viable treatment for your condition. Yet instead of having access to a simple 20 minutes surgery, you have to painfully wait for blindness to take over your life. This is the unfortunate reality for thousands of Yemenis who simply do not have the funding to regain their sight. Donate a gift that someone will never forget; the gift of sight.

For $400, you can give a gift of sight to one patient.

KIDNEY DIALYSIS

When a kidney fails or stops to work properly, a dialysis procedure is necessary to remove waste products and toxins from the body by diverting blood to a machine to be cleaned. This life saving procedure is now a luxury for Yemeni patients to access.

For $150, you can secure the cost of the dialysis for one patient per month.

MEDICAL EQUIPMENT AND SUPPLIES

Medical equipment and supplies are crucial to saving a person’s life or performing any procedure. Help us ensure that the limited functioning hospitals left in Yemen at least have proper medical tools.

For $20,000, you can send a 40ft container of supplies and equipment to Yemen.
